We are pleased to announce that we have delivered two reports addressing critical cultural literacy. In the two reports D2.1 and D2.2, we have addressed critical cultural literacy in numerous ways. This work package was led by the team of experts from University of Barcelona.
In D2.1, we have examined the theoretical understandings of the project’s most important theoretical perspectives. The report investigates different theoretical understandings in the research of central and critical literacy, cultural literacy, multiliteracy, decolonial theory and community-based research. Simultaneously, the report clarifies how to understand critical cultural literacy in the different countries. The report gives the project a good starting point for reflecting on and working with critical cultural literacy.
In D2.2. we have collected and described a large number of methods for working with critical cultural literacy and art in schools and elsewhere. We will make sure to keep you updated – stay tuned!
