We are excited to share the fourth issue of the EXPECT_Art newsletter, marking the beginning of the project’s second year with stories of collaboration, creativity, and critical cultural literacy (CCL) in action.
In January, our partners gathered in the vibrant city of Barcelona for the third general assembly. Hosted by the University of Barcelona and Experimentem amb l’Art, the meeting brought together over 40 participants from six countries. Workshops, visits to renowned museums, and dynamic discussions set the tone for the year ahead as we deepen our commitment to arts-based research.
Meanwhile in Slovenia, pupils have embarked on a powerful co-creative journey with artistic partner Portret, developing a theatre play that brings young voices to the forefront. This process fosters creativity, self-expression, and collaboration, turning children into co-researchers of their own experiences—key principles of our community-driven approach.
