In late September, our team gathered in Germany for our first in-person meeting since the project’s kick-off. Held in the vibrant cities of Landau and Karlsruhe, the meeting provided an inspiring space to reflect, collaborate, and dive deep into essential topics of our project. The agenda was rich and engaging, as participants explored reflexivity regarding our research methodology and discussed positionality within a participatory research. In addition, the participants planned upcoming fieldwork and reflected on the role of critical cultural literacy in local environments. These discussions opened up new insights and although it was a lot to unpack, those are the moments that create lasting memories.
Thanks to the German partners, RPTU and Kinemathek Karlsruhe, the meeting was not only content-rich but also offered a constructive platform for sharing perspectives and getting to know creativity of Landau and Karlsruhe. Lisa and Verena from the Chaos Comic Club KA brough these moments to life through a captivating graphics that were made during the meeting. This really was a unique and creative way to capture the essence of our discussions.
