During the summer, Dr. Fernando Hernández-Hernández, researcher at Esbrina Recerca of the Spanish team, participated as the main speaker in the ‘Caixa d’Eines’ conference, organized by Pla de Barris of the city of Barcelona, where they reflected on the inclusion of artistic methods and artistic thinking in the city’s public schools.

The presentation made explicit the need to talk and think about the curriculum from a decolonial perspective and how the arts collaborate with this purpose. This is one of the main focuses of the EXPECT_Art project and we are looking forward to start exploring it with students and community members in the next months.
