In our project, we are diving deep into the intersection of art education and participatory research. Currently, the German team from RPTU and Kinemathek Karlsruhe e.V. is spending time with a 4th-grade class, exploring film and storytelling together. Children chose a powerful film that touches upon bullying, violence, racism, displacement, belonging, gender roles, courage, winning, and losing—providing the perfect foundation to foster critical cultural literacy.
